Dental assisting is about crafting confident smiles, building your skills and delivering compassionate care for our patients. This position will require prior dental assistant experience with exposure to surgical procedures. OUR PRACTICE: Leading Edge Oral Surgery (Huntington) 790 New York Ave, Ste 100, Huntington, NY 11743 HIRING SCHEDULE: Monday: 8:45am-5:00pm Tuesday: 8:45am-5:00pm: Wednesday: 8:45am-5:00pm: Every other Thursday : 8:45am-5:00pm: Friday: 8:45am-5:00pm: X1 per month, Saturday : 8:30am-12:00pm RESPONSIBILITIES: QUALIFICATIONS: - Welcoming patients with a smile, making them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit. - Support the Oral Surgeon with various procedures. - Taking digital radiographs, CBCT and intra-oral scans as prescribed - Ensure strict infection control by meticulously preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment. - Sanitizing and prepping operatories for respective treatments. - Adhere to OSHA and safety policies, prioritizing a secure and healthy environment. - Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies as needed - Undertake diverse office tasks as needed for seamless practice operations. - Prior dental assisting exper...
