Intake Coordinator-Recovery | Raleigh Recovery Center | Raleigh, North Carolina About the Job: PURPOSE STATEMENT: The Behavioral Health Intake Coordinator is responsible for establishing and maintaining a first- impressions and customer service focused environment for new clients entering treatment. Duties include greeting new arrivals, completion of vitals and initial belongings checks for contraband, admission screening documentation, completion of consents and appropriate releases of information, observation rounding, and milieu management. Roles and Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Coordinates with other departments and maintains a list of expected new admissions and greets all new clients upon arrival. - Notifies appropriate facility departments of the arrival of a new client. - Conducts vital signs and reports any abnormalities to a nursing representative. Collects UDS and/or BAC. - Interviews clients, family members and/or collateral sources to assure intake criteria are met.
