Cost Analyst

Job description

Qualifications: Salary: Up to $55,000 /year base salary + Bonus Eligibility This is an estimated range based on the circumstances at the time of posting, however it may change based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, market factors, geographical location, budget, and demand. - Analyze and report on transportation costs, including fuel, labor, maintenance, and other operational expenses. - Develop and maintain cost models to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes. - Monitor cost variances and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. - Collaborate with various departments to gather data and provide insights on cost management. - Prepare detailed cost analysis reports and presentations for management. - Assist in the development and implementation of cost control procedures and policies. - Conduct periodic reviews of cost allocation methodologies and recommend adjustments as needed. - Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college/university in a concentration requiring analytical rigor (such as: business, economics, finance, logistics/supply chain management, etc.) - Prefe...
