A Carter Lumber Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, functional facility while performing daily repairs, emergency and preventative maintenance. Inspects all machinery to ensure safety functions are working properly. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position. Requirements: Responsibilities: Facility Maintenance - Preferred hands‑on experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial production machinery - Must be able to work on-site - Must be a self-starter and able to work unsupervised - Knowledge and experience in industrial maintenance , including electrical troubleshooting, welding, fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals - Strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills - Must be able to work at a fast pace and successfully multi-task - Friendly, outgoing personality; works well with others - Ability to carry 25-50lbs - Strong computer skills - 1st shift position - Ensure that all facilities, buildings and assets that are used by the company are maint...
