Description Reports to: Director – IT: Summary: The IT Support position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks within VRC Companies, LLC (the “Company” or “VRC”) in a technical support role. Essential Functions: - Provide users with basic technical support related to PCs, mobile devices, RFID equipment, peripherals, associated software, etc. - Provide troubleshooting and support for basic network issues like networking printers and handling failure of cables or non-managed network hardware. - Provide limited user account support such as drive mapping and password resets, but not creation/deletion of accounts or assignment of permissions. - Setup and configuration of workstations and software. - Transportation and setup of equipment at various sites, primarily local but with limited travel if necessary. - Communicate with Network Manager when issues need to be escalated or are otherwise outside the normal scope of duties. - Other duties as required.
