Job description

Duties and Responsibilities of SHIRE Teachers Collaborate with CSEO post-doctoral fellows to support classroom logistics, support for students, and group dynamics. Understand and implement policies and procedures related to protection of minors. This includes ensuring that effective student supervision is maintained at all times and according to program location rules, in part but not limited to ensuring that at least one teacher is present within the SHIRE program at all times. Qualifications : Qualified applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree, be certified to teach secondary STEM classes in the State of Tennessee , and have content expertise. Preference is given to current MNPS teachers working with the Interdisciplinary Science and Research (ISR) program. Teaching experience and/or experience working with advanced students is a plus.
