Caregivers needed morning and afternoon 4 hour shifts Issaquah

Job description

Short shifts: $27-$28 an hour Looking for experienced caregivers for case starting mid-May in Issaquah. Client is female in her 80's with Parkinson's who lives with her husband. She is wheelchair bound and they presently live in an adult family home, but want to transition back to independent living and will need care support to do that. Shifts will be 4 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the afternoon/evening, 7 days a week. Proposed hours are 830a to 1230p and 4p to 8p. They are in the process of identifying where they will live with Issaquah being most likely but possibly Bellevue. Ideal caregivers will have experience with Parkinson's and be comfortable with hands on care. The morning shift will focus on preparing her for the day, including toileting, meals, getting dressed, etc. Evening will be the reverse, including getting ready for bed, evening meals etc. Being familiar with transfer techniques including the use of a hoyer is important. Client is fairly small framed, but not able to provide much assistance with mobility. We will also be providing personal care including bed baths. Med reminders will be a key part of the day.
