Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run. Our Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration & Test (MAIT) team is building the industrial means to manufacture and qualify critical flight hardware. We are looking for a Mechanical Fitting Operator – Propulsion Valves to support the assembly, preparation, and functional testing of our gas and propellant valves, working closely with AIT and design engineers. Main responsibilities: As a Mechanical Fitting Operator - Propulsion Valves, you will play a key role in building and validating critical flight hardware: Valve assembly and fitting: High precision mechanical assembly of propulsion valves according to drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Preparation and cleanliness: cleaning, passivation, and preparation of components and valves in to meet space-quality requirements.
