Inpatient APP - Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders - ( 26001817 ) Description The University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital is seeking a 50% Pediatric Hospitalist (PA/ARNP) t o provide medical care and management for children with cancer and blood disorders, including recipients of bone marrow transplantation and cellular therapies, on the University of Iowa Dance Marathon 11th floor of UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital. Function independently to plan, deliver, and evaluate health care for pediatric inpatient and observation populations while triaging concerns from patients in the outpatient setting. Focus on the caring for hospitalized patients to manage care and length of stay, improve resource utilization and decrease costs to patients and the institution while providing personalized care. The position requires staffing nights, weekends and holidays on a rotational basis to be determined according to clinical service needs.
