Position Overview Power your future with Qualus in our Program Management department as a Construction Manager. The Construction Manager is responsible for ensuring that constructability meets Qualus and our client expectations of quality for each assigned project, to ensure compliance within required construction codes, local jurisdictional requirements, budgetary, scheduling, and safety goals. Employees in this role coordinate and manage substation and transmission line Interconnection projects in and around the Dorchester/Boston, Massachusetts area. Work will be centered around tying in renewables power generation into the transmission grid through substations. Responsibilities: - Aggressively manages and inspects the day-to-day activities of multiple electric contractor crews, for substation and transmission line project work. - Facilitates the installation of electric infrastructure and ensures that all safety standards, company construction standards, company specifications and governmental regulations are met. - Manages work to ensure that all performance objectives for cycle time and cost are on target. - Oversees and directs contractors performing electric cable installati...
