Employment Type: Part time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: What to expect as a Floorperson at Saint Mary Home: The Floor & Laundry Technician ensures a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff by performing a variety of housekeeping and maintenance duties. This role includes cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and facility grounds, while adhering to all safety, infection control, and operational guidelines. Required knowledge, skills & abilities: Collects trash, recyclables, and soiled linen throughout the facility. Operates housekeeping equipment such as washing machines, dryers, auto-scrubbers, and floor buffers. Cleans and disinfects tile floors, stairwells, furniture, and fixtures; performs carpet vacuuming, spot-cleaning, and extraction. Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, resident beds, and appliances. Assists with outdoor maintenance, including snow removal during emergencies. Ensures compliance with safety, infection control, and hazardous materials policies.
