Summary The Courier - Laboratory On Call reports to the Director of Laboratory Services and is responsible for providing efficient, safe and courteous service for Concord Hospital, Capital Region Health Care and affiliated clients. Working in conjunction with supply chain to ensure the proper vehicle workflows are adhered to. The Courier - Laboratory On Call is responsible to be within 20 minutes of the hospital while on call. When called they are expected to report to the hospital within 20-30 minutes. Education: High school or equivalent (GED). Certification, Registration & Licensure: Licensure required: Valid New Hampshire Driver's license. Certified copy of DMV driving record that qualifies standards set by Human Resources and MVR Rating Guidelines. If personal vehicle is to be used for official business, employee must provide proof of insurance coverage which complies with organization and Concord Hospital Driving Policy. Experience: None required. Responsibilities: Maintain the most efficient route. Transport specimens, blood products and occasional supplies/reagents to other facilities.
