Hourly Pay Range: $61.22 - $85.71 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: - Position: Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant) – General Surgery - Location: Swedish Hospital, Chicago, IL - Full Time/Part Time: Full-time, 40 hours/week - Hours: (4) 10-hour shifts on days between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00pm. Rotating weekends and holidays required. - Inpatient position Job Description: Exciting opportunity to join Endeavor Health in the Inpatient Department of General Surgery covering general surgery, urology, and vascular surgery patients . Under the direction of the collaborating physician(s), provides care to patients. Obtains detailed history and performs physical examinations, orders imaging, lab tests and diagnostic procedures and interprets results. Instructs patients on the prescribed therapeutic regimen and pre/post operative instructions. Maintains records and writes progress notes on status, treatments and procedures.
