Job description
THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: · Maintain and repair the facility’s structure, equipment and grounds, including plumbing and minor electrical. · Operate and monitor continuous process equipment used in the processing and manufacturing of power transformers. · Monitor high pressure steam boilers working under the chief boiler operator. · Operate and monitor HVAC systems, chillers, building management system, tank farm, air compressors and other process support systems. · Work with manufacturing or process engineering in the installation or repair of building plumbing and wiring required in the production process. · Make periodic or special inspections of the premise to determine repair work necessary. · Work and understand prints, drawings or rough sketches. · Understands and performs work within the Company Safety Management System (CSMS) policies. · Understand, operate and respond to fire protection system alarms. · Perform assigned TPM tasks and assist in identifying needed TPM tasks and frequency adjustments. · Perform carpentry and make drywall repairs. · Prepare and paint facility surfaces and equipment. · Perform sanitar...
