Job description

Intensive Care Unit consists of a 7-bed Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit. It is comprised of private rooms, which are designed and equipped for standard ECG, dialysis, SPO2 and hemodynamic pressure monitoring that facilitates safe and effective patient care. Eagle/MRICU Telemedicine Intensivist services are available 24 hours a day/7 day a week. Skill mix includes RNs and Patient Care Technicians. There is one full time Nurse Director and one Clinical Coordinator managing both the Intensive Care Unit and the Acute Care Unit. Staffing is based on acuity/volume and adjusted accordingly per shift The Clinical Nurse I job Integrates technical skills and theoretical knowledge to meet the needs of the patient and family. This job assists the health care team with the prevention of illness and injury, maintenance of wellness, and provision of comfort. This job provides direction, education, and begins to acquire leadership skills at the unit level.
