Summer 2026 Resident Director, Upward Bound Program

Wilkes University's Upward Bound Program is seeking a Resident Director (RD) to lead the residential experience for its Summer 2026 Upward Bound Program. The RD will supervise Residential Advisors (RAs), support high school students in a college-preparatory environment, and help create a safe, structured, and engaging campus community. The program runs June 21 through July 31, 2026, with the position beginning June 7, 2026, and requires the RD to live on campus and supervise students and staff Sunday evenings through Fridays. Responsibilities include overseeing residential operations, supervising and supporting RAs, maintaining a positive student living environment, coordinating programming and evening activities, assisting with student conduct and conflict resolution, and collaborating with staff on student support and program planning. Candidates should have experience in residential life, youth programs, mentoring, or a related field (preferred), and be a current or rising college junior, senior, or college graduate.
