Job Description: Primary Responsibility The First Ascent Program Facilitator, is a seasonal temporary position needed one-two weeks a year, will be responsible for planning, implementing, and participating in the one-week program for the annual CMC First Ascent Youth Leadership Program. Working under the supervision of the program Manager, the Facilitator will assist in planning the annual program. During the program, the Facilitator will be responsible for maintaining schedules and overseeing individual counselors in their activities—acting in all capacities as the Manager, but under the actual Manager’s supervision. During the program, the facilitator will work closely with camp counselor to ensure learning is taking place for camp participants. The facilitator will assist counselors with group management, conflict resolution and will intervene if there is disruptive behavior. The facilitator will participate in group activities and keep the program manager aware of any issues. - This is a part-time, seasonal position.
