The Role: ​​Epic Business intelligence developers (BIDs) create analytics content for end users and third parties who require Epic data tools or exports. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust BI solutions native to the Epic reporting suite as well other enterprise data platforms. BIDs design and create analytics solutions based on an in-depth knowledge of Epic operational system usage and requires a deep understanding of system build, end user workflows, and patterns of use. Both technical skills required to design and write content paired with the operational knowledge to understand what report consumers need to see are critical to the success of a BID.
