JOB SUMMARY: Oversees the inventory function for the site by updating records and maintaining control of materials and products. Maintains the control systems, avoiding excessive stocks and materials shortages. Responsible for driving inventory efficiency and operational flow within the distribution center by overseeing Replenishment, Waving, and Inventory Slotting strategies. This role partners closely with Operations, Planning, and Systems teams to ensure inventory is positioned, released, and replenished in a way that maximizes productivity, accuracy, and service-level performance while minimizing labor cost and congestion. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages the Inventory function: Lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of inventory slotting strategies to optimize pick paths, reduce travel time, and improve order fulfillment productivity. Analyze SKU velocity, cube, weight, and order profiles to ensure inventory is slotted in the most efficient locations. Own site-level replenishment strategy to ensure forward pick locations are consistently stocked to support execution.
