Title: Assistant Professor of Nursing Division: Provost's Office: Department: Kinney College of Nursing & Health Professions FLSA Status: Exempt: Salary Range: Annual Salary: EEO Job Group: 2 C5: Position Summary: The University of Southern Indiana seeks applications for a 10-month Assistant Professor of Nursing. The Assistant Professor of Nursing position is tenure track. Position begins August 1, 2026 or when filled. Duties/Responsibilities: This position will assume classroom teaching responsibilities as well as clinical supervision of students in the graduate and undergraduate nursing programs. Required Knowledge and Skills: - A doctoral degree in nursing is required. Applicants with ABD status will be considered at the rank of Instructor if doctoral degree will be completed by the end of their first year of employment. If employment starts in August 2026, terminal degree must be completed by the end of July 2027. - All candidates must hold a valid and unencumbered Indiana (or compact) RN license.
