Position Overview: - Bonus : Up to $6,000 - Department : Ortho Surgery - Schedule : Multiple shifts available - Fultime: Monday-Friday, shifts start at 6:00am. You can pick between 5/8 hour or 4/10 hours shifts. Based on Manager discretion, limited 3/12 hour shifts are available with verfied Ortho experience. Call is required. - Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham - Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: Facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. - Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile drapes and sterile solutions as well as appropriate sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies. - Hand required/requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery. - Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients. - Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor/track instruments counts throughout procedures.
