Job description

Reports to: Radiology Director FLSA Classification: Full-time, Non-exempt, Hourly $33.96-$49.09 Essential Functions: - Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures at a technical level. - Perform all forms of ultrasound procedures within the facility. - Operate and maintain radiology equipment. - Perform various clerical duties as needed. - Assist in organizing, directing, and coordinating the functions/activities of the Radiology department. - Review department policies and procedures at least annually. - Ensure that radiologic/ultrasound procedures are performed according to prioritized needs. - Maintain proper records regarding all radiologic/ultrasound procedures. - Assist in training other departmental personnel. - Responsible for calculating and recording test results, standards,and controls. - Actively participate in meetings and committees as required and requested. - Assist in coordinating with the payroll department to assure an accurate and effective payroll process for the department staff. - Assist in implementation of recommendations from the facility's committees. - Report all required incidents and accidents on proper forms. - Ensure that patient rights are well estab...
