Schedule Full-Time: 36 Hours/Weekly: Position works 7 days in a 2-week pay period. Schedule includes: Every 3rd weekend rotation ---Saturdays: 9a–5p ---Sundays: 9:30a–1:30p Every 3rd holiday rotation (holiday shifts are 9:30a–1:30p) Thursdays consistently off: Weekday shifts: mix of 12-hour (7a–7p) and 8-hour (9a–5p) Consistent 3-week schedule that repeats every 6 weeks General Summary: Pharmacy Technicians assist with preparation and distribution of medications. Pharmacy Technicians are eligible for advanced technician positions based upon job performance and successful completion of requirements for advancement established in the Pharmacy Technician Career Ladder criteria grids. Essential Functions: - Pursuant to the needs and offerings of the hiring department, essential job accountabilities may include the following: - Receives and stocks deliveries of pharmaceuticals and other supplies - Prepares, packages, and labels medications prior to dispensing. - Delivers medications to care areas within the hospital. - Delivers medications to off-site locations. - Manages pharmacy inventory management, including use of electronic inventory management systems. - Monitors product expirati...
