Position Title: RN - Registered Nurse Bone Marrow Transplant Full Time Nights Department: Bone Marrow Transplant Job Description: *Registered Nurse positions are available at levels I, II, or III, depending on experience and education. Our Bone Marrow Transplant unit is a 12-bed unit located on the 5th floor of the new patient bed tower. This unit provides total comprehensive care to patients before, during, and after allogeneic transplants from peripheral blood, bone marrow, or umbilical cord blood from related and unrelated donors. We are the only cellular therapy and comprehensive stem cell transplant program in Oklahoma. We are also the only facility that offers CAR-T (chimeric antigen receptor T cell) therapy. General Description: An OU Health Registered Nurse (RN) II works under general supervision and provides nursing care in a hospital setting to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. They are a critical link within their department in maintaining and modeling nursing practice standards and upholding the nursing code of ethics to ensure the highest quality of safe, patient care.
