Terra Remote Sensing Inc., located on beautiful Vancouver Island, B.C, is an international mapping company specializing in the acquisition, analyses, and production of spatial data. We offer world-class expertise in digital airborne mapping, hydrographic charting, marine geophysics, and geomatics support services. Terra is seeking bright and eager Geomatics Mapping Technicians to join the LiDAR production team for a work from home, 12-month contract starting April 2025 to learn and assist with the processing of aerial remote sensing LiDAR data. Full training, and technology required to perform the work, will be provided. Hours of work will be 40 hours per week Monday through Friday. This role is suited to a recent graduate with some familiarity of remote sensing and/or looking for experience in the geomatics domain as well as opportunity to learn about ortho imagery, calibration, and LiDAR data.
