Position Summary San Diego State University is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Web Developer I to support and maintain websites for the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Diversity. In this role, you’ll help ensure web content is accessible, user-friendly, and aligned with university standards while collaborating with campus partners to enhance digital communications and user experience. Key Responsibilities: - Website Development & Maintenance - Maintain and update OmniCMS-hosted websites, including content updates and site migrations. - Ensure websites meet accessibility, usability, and mobile responsiveness standards. - Manage site functionality, including redirects, calendars, and integrations. - Content & Digital Communications - Support newsletter and email production using Salesforce. - Collaborate with content creators to improve site structure, navigation, and user experience. - Ensure alignment with SDSU brand and web standards. - Accessibility, SEO & Optimization - Conduct accessibility reviews and implement improvements. - Support search engine optimization (SEO) strategies, Google Analytics and best practices. - Stay current on trends in UX, accessibility, a...
