The Role: Alarm.com’s video streaming infrastructure delivers real-time video to millions of users every day. We’re looking for a technically deep product manager to own the performance, reliability, and evolution of that infrastructure. You will define streaming quality targets (connection success rates, load times, proxy fallback rates, cloud costs) and own the roadmap for improving them. You will work directly with backend, firmware, frontend, and QA engineers to ship those improvements. Day to day, that means reading WebRTC session logs, analyzing codec tradeoffs, benchmarking stream load times, and making prioritization calls between programs like adaptive bitrate streaming and connection reliability.
