Job Description: Chef Manager Location: Thatcham Court Care Home, Chapel Street, Thatcham RG18 4QL Contract: Permanent – Full Time: Hours: 40 hours per week - Days Salary: £15.09 to £18.57 per hour depending on experience CQC rating: Good: Carehome.co.uk rating: 9.7 / 10: Thatcham Court is a purpose-built dementia care home. The home is dedicated to caring for adults living with dementia, from early onset to more complex end-of-life needs, the home provides all types of dementia care including nursing, residential, Parkinson's and short-stay care. The home can provide an assessment within 48 hours and, in some cases, welcome the resident the same day. This home is situated in the centre of Thatcham and has dementia champions who work to improve the quality of life for residents through daily activities and opportunities for reminiscence and stimulation. The home’s interior has been decorated to suit individuals with dementia, being colour-themed and including memory triggers. The chefs create well-crafted menus made with the freshest ingredients.
