Job Family: Scientist Travel Required: None Clearance Required: Ability to Obtain Public Trust What You Will Do: We are searching for a Bioinformatics Scientist to provide support services to satisfy the overall objectives of the National Institute of Aging. This is a full-time opportunity located in Baltimore, MD. Provide programming, data processing, and troubleshooting support for human population-based studies involving omics, clinical, phenotype, and wearable/sensor data. Perform computational analyses using established bioinformatics and statistical methods for multi-omics and wearable datasets and integrate them into epidemiological research. Process raw data, including quality control, alignment, quantification, normalization, and generation of analysis-ready datasets. Provide large-scale genome-wide DNA and protein sequence analysis. Assist with development and maintenance of Oracle database for genomics and proteomics projects in the Translational Gerontology Branch (TGB).
