Manager of Transportation Requirements: - Manages Delivery and/or Shuttle Operations and ensures routes and deliveries are accurately executed. - Travels to drop yards in assigned areas and meet with contractors with potential day trips and overnight visits. Provides recaps on the visit details. - Reviews routes and linehaul assignments. - Monitors all deliveries and routes in Dispatch Track/Motive from start to finish. - Works closely with other transportation managers, ensuring routes and deliveries are accurately executed. - Ensures safety procedures are met or exceeded by inspecting equipment, logs, DVIR’s, and Hours of Service records. - Manages and monitors performance metrics- including survey, HOS, safety scores and Dispatch Track. - Partners directly with Independent Contractors...
