Job Title: OR Material Tech Department: Material Handling: Location: Rochester General Hospital: Hours Per Week: 40: Schedule: 2PM - 10:30PM: SUMMARY: Provides hospital Operating Room with material management to support procedural volume. Accountability for supplies distributed throughout the Operating Room including case carts. Performing inventory checks to ensure adequate supplies are available at all times. As well as performing other material management related functions throughout the Operating Room as required. RESPONSIBILITIES: Obtain supplies required for case carts and sub-sterile area. Ensuring excess supplies are returned to inventory and working with the team to provide a smooth work flow throughout the OR area. Utilizing a team effort to accomplish Case Cart building and turnover within acceptable time frames. Responsible for cleanliness and safety of environment for team members, medical staff and patients. Ensures that Par Level replenishments are completed accurately utilizing the inventory management system. Ensures neat and orderly appearance of all case carts and supply racks.
