Description Tulane University Law School seeks to hire full or part time Visiting Clinical Assistant Professors in at least 2 of its seven clinical programs, including in the Domestic Violence Clinic , the Women’s Prison Project , the First Amendment Clinic , and/or the Environmental Law Clinic . Run by full-time faculty, the law school’s clinical programs are among the most robust experiential learning programs in the nation for law students and exemplify the University’s strong culture of public service. Tulane’s clinics provide a capstone learning experience for law students, while modeling the legal profession’s core values and responsibilities to serve people of limited means. Through these programs, Tulane law students learn essential lawyering skills and provide free, exemplary legal representation to clients under Louisiana’s student practice rule. Students enroll for a full academic year. Clinic faculty engage in hands on, intensive supervision of complex litigation requiring subject matter expertise in areas such as: 1) gender-based violence, family law, civil litigation, criminal law and practice, criminal defense and/or post-conviction practice (DV Clinic and WPP); 2) F...
