POSITION OVERVIEW: Lubrication and servicing of Mobile Mining Equipment, Light Vehicles, Support and Auxiliary Equipment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Demonstrate an understanding of the fundamentals of preventive and predictive maintenance (procedures, forms, checklists, etc.) - Maintain and repair oil dispensing equipment ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness. - Capable of identifying different types of fluids and understanding proper capacities - Operate various mine equipment to move for servicing. - Utilize knowledge of all service points and their locations for lubrication oils, grease points, filters, and breathers on mine equipment, such Liebherr, caterpillar and Komatsu mine equipment. - Troubleshoot fluid contamination concerns including viscosity and contamination concerns. - Ability to identify petroleum products for proper usage and disposal. - Knowledge of procedures and positioning for checking fluid levels on all mine equipment. - Knowledge of oil sampling and coolant analysis. - Must meet required tool list for Lubeman.
