Leidos is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our National Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) program to provide support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). 50% travel to conduct on site surveys and reviews. The projects will range over the eastern part of the US. This position must provide the Atlanta, GA En Route Engineering Center assistance in Electrical Engineering design, planning, cost estimating, scheduling, engineering, coordination, contracting, installation, inspection, and acceptance of electrical systems/services as part of the Eastern Service Area (ESA) implementation of a wide variety of En Route programs and projects. Electrical Engineer Primary Responsibilities: - Design and plan electrical systems for FAA buildings and structures, including power distribution and backup systems - Develop, review, and manage project engineering documents, including AutoCAD drawings, specifications, and cost estimates - Conduct on-site surveys and prepare detailed, scale designs and reports - Collaborate with engineering staff to resolve design or implementation issues and review contractor submittals - Oversee project management tasks, including safety plans,...
