You will be a key player in the company-wide continuous improvement effort by using troubleshooting, predictive, and preventive maintenance strategies daily. Responsibilities include: - Maintenance of sawfiling equipment - Undertaking preventative maintenance program for equipment and machinery - Use knowledge and skills to recognize opportunities for improvements and savings - Maintenance of workplace and saw filing safety - Achieving production targets - Inspecting, maintaining, and calibrating precision equipment - Adherence to filing shop quality control standards - Troubleshooting and examining saws for defects - Management of saw box water and lubrication Our ideal Benchman candidate possesses: - A valid Inter-Provincial or Provincial Journeyperson Benchman or Sawfiler certification - Mechanical aptitude; excellent problem-solving skills - Ability to work closely with other trades and employees - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Flexible schedule in order to wo...
