Join our elite Culinary Team at our new 270 Park as a Pastry Cook As a Pastry Cook within our Culinary Team, you will be responsible for supporting the Pastry Chef in the production and service of a variety of pastry items and breads for all the outlets. We are seeking a passionate and creative individual with great attention to detail, a wide range of pastry skills, and a willingness to learn and grow. Job Responsibilities: - Collaborate within a diverse team with a strong work ethic. - Set up and stock pastry stations per prep lists and recipes. - Label, date, cover, and rotate all items using FIFO. - Prepare a range of pastries and breads using approved techniques. - Maintain knowledge of recipes, ingredients, and allergens. - Develop new pastry items with leadership feedback. - Keep work areas clean, organized, and efficient under pressure. - Manage inventory counts, receiving, and stock rotation; report issues. - Inspect ingredients, finished goods, and equipment; escalate problems. - Uphold JPMC food quality, safety, and temperature controls. - Adhere to NYC Sanitation Code and company policies; arrive on time in uniform and perform other duties as assigned.
