Job Summary Under the direction of the Vice President of Operations, the Director of Operations is responsible for the operational oversight of Palomar Health Medical Group, including but not limited to Primary Care, Specialty Care, Radiology and partnering with Palomar Health Integrated Delivery System (IDS) for operations that cross to the hospital system. Directs outpatient operations and overall clinical care to ensure provision of high quality, cost-effective medical services. In collaboration with the Vice President of Operations, the Director of Operations will support to achieve high quality patient care, a strong focus on patient experience and improvement efforts, administrative and fiscal aspects of the organization. Provides leadership and oversight of the performance of Sr. Managers, Practice Managers and Clinical Practice Managers. Responsible for leading the operations team related to initiatives of the medical group and health system.
