ChristianaCare is looking for a full-time Maintenance Mechanic III in Newark, Delaware to provide a safe, compliant and continuous operation of healthcare facilities physical infrastructure and mechanical systems. Duties and Responsibilities: Hours: Rotating Shifts & On Call Rotation - Maintains and repairs Minor -portable patient equipment (i.e. wheelchairs, IV poles, stretchers, and all types of beds, Minor HVAC/Plumbing repairs, Minor electrical repairs, Pneumatic tube oversight also performs building maintenance tasks (i.e. hanging pictures, repairing and replacing ceiling tiles, floor tiles, cove base, light bulbs, repairing cabinetry and mounting signs). - Performs preventative maintenance inspections and takes readings on various building systems. - Responds to emergency situations such as but not limited to power failures, fire alarms to restore equipment, elevator entrapments, and water events. - Audits contractors and permits (to include but are no...
