Benefits and perks: The Supervisor, SUD Counselor Education and Development (herein referred to as “Supervisor”) is responsible for the design, implementation and oversight of the dedicated support program for SUD Counselors at the organization. The Supervisor is responsible for tracking all registered SUD Counselor credentials and education, and ensuring registered counselors are meeting their milestones in order to keep an active credential. This role ensures that all registered counseling staff meet California state requirements for registration and initial certification, with a particular focus on compliance with new mandates established by Assembly Bill (AB) 2473 and DHCS BHIN 25-029.
