Job description

JOB SUMMARY: Oversees the inventory function for Samsung sites by updating records and maintaining control of materials and products. Maintains the control systems, avoiding excessive stocks and materials shortages. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: For Samsung facilities, manages the Inventory function: - Ensures the accuracy of inventory counts. - Acts a liaison to determine obsolete stock while optimizing inventory turnover. - Ensures proper levels of stock via inventory control. - Advises Neovia client management teams on initiatives to improve customer service, inventory performance and overall supply chain performance. - Assists in managing existing client relationships. - Meets client needs including enhancements to systems and/or Inventory Control. - Other duties as assigned. Preferred: - Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University in a closely related field - 5+ years’ relevant experience - Advanced degree from an accredited University in a closely related field - Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) designation - 6 Sigma or other continuous improvement experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Work is primarily sedentary.
