Job Description Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs cogeneration and auxiliary equipment including electrical interface with the Energy Center. Inspects all cogeneration equipment and makes repairs as required. Tests and documents all established parameters associated with all cogeneration equipment (both mechanical and chemical.) Job Responsibility: 1.Assist in the day-to-day operations, maintenance and repairs of the Co-gen plant and auxiliary equipment associated with it. 2.Must be able to dismantle a diesel Engine with limited to no instruction from Management or outside Vendors. 3.Maintain a close professional relationship with all outside contractors responsible for performing work on the co-generation system, ex. National Grid, Con Ed etc. 4.Ensure the proper operations and maintenance of the Cogeneration electrical system and its interface with the Hospitals electrical distribution system. 5.Track energy savings in terms of energy saved and dollars saved. 6.Prepare all necessary reports required to communicate the status of the plant and work to be performed.
