College: Fletcher Technical Community College Department: Academic Affairs & Initiatives: Sub department: Energy & Advanced Technologies Salary: $75,083 - $100,951 (Salary commensurate with rank.) Duties and Responsibilities: Required Experience : Completion of a journeyman level power lineman technician program or on-the-job training program; or five years of professional experience at or above the highest level of skill being taught. Provide classroom instruction and practical field experience to prepare students for entry-level employment in the field of power lineman. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Candidates must have good instructional techniques; computer knowledge; student-centered attitude; and must be well organized. Required Licenses or Certifications : Must obtain NCCER craft instructor certification in power lineman, OSHA 10-General, and CPR certifications within 90 days of hire and keep current throughout employment. Preferred Experience : Teaching experience in the discipline at the college or high school level.
