Description EXEMPT. This position requires a well-rounded and unique mix of finance, accounting and analysis combined with ability to interact and serve as a business partner with operations and sales management. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial functions while ensuring compliance with GAAP, SOX, government, contract requirements and in general, maintaining good corporate governance. Will oversee monthly close activities on a timely basis and oversee activities of finance staff, budgeting and forecasting and provide financial analysis to support Project Manager (PM), contracts and proposals support and Corporate Accounting and Reporting. Ability and confidence to recommend process improvements will be encouraged. Duties include but are not limited to: · Oversee monthly and quarterly close requirements on a timely basis and the activities of finance and operation staff including inventory count procedure. · Oversee compliance over Revenue Recognition. This involves understanding Revenue Recognition in conjunction with the requirement of ASC 606, preparation of monthly Revenue Recognition and quarterly cost review. · Oversee compliance with interna...
