Our core activity is the development, manufacturing and installation of top-quality racking systems for the storage of palletized or small goods and longer items, as well as mezzanine structures. Job Description: As a Process Engineer you will review and optimize the production processes of stow’s Ovar plant Main responsibilities: - Act as the plant's expert in manufacturing processes (metal forming, welding, powder painting) - Lead cost-reduction initiatives by optimizing the use of resources - Monitor and analyze process KPIs (yield, throughput, downtime, etc.) and drive continuous improvement - Work with Production, Logistics and Maintenance teams on the shop floor to execute improvement projects - Develop and implement standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process documentation - Provide technical training and support to Production supervisors and operators Qualifications: - 3 to 5 years’ experience as a process engineer in metalworking industry (metal forming, welding) - mandatory - Academic degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant area - Knowledge of LEAN tools - Previous...
