Description The LPC Intern provides supervised mental health counseling services to individuals, couples, families, or groups. The intern works under a licensed supervisor to develop clinical skills, complete required supervised hours, and deliver ethical, evidence-based care. Requirements: Key Responsibilities: - Conduct intake assessments and psychosocial evaluations for clients. - Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. - Provide individual, group, couples, or family therapy sessions. - Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes. - Participate in clinical supervision and case consultations. - Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions when needed. - Provide crisis intervention and referrals to appropriate services. - Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in accordance with professional guidelines. - Collaborate with other professionals such as psychiatrists, social workers, and medical staff. - Attend training, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance clinical skills.
