Department: UMBC Police The UMBC Police Department is comprised of experienced diverse police professionals who provide full-service law enforcement responsibilities, police communication professionals who provide a first point of contact for police services, and a highly trained civilian staff who support our mission. Position Overview: The University of Maryland, Baltimore County is recruiting for an open University Police Officer II position. Duties include enforcement of local, state and federal laws. This role starts at $74,160.42 and has 14 days of vacation as well as winter break, spring break, and personal days for regular full time roles. Tuition remission is also available. Police officers are provided uniforms in addition to a clothing and equipment allowance. Shift differential is available for evening and midnight shifts.
