Space Systems Integration (SSI) is a fast-growing engineering company that provides aerospace solutions to a variety of government and commercial customers. Our employees are forward-thinking, self-directed individuals who are committed to solving our customers’ technical challenges. SSI is seeking a Senior Program Manager for a role in Washington, DC. The customer Program Office provides planning and acquisition of cost-effective, long-term critical U.S. Air Force capabilities in an Integrated Product Team structure. The candidate will work side by side with customers and other contractors in the Program Office. Working with the customer, the candidate will also interface with major defense contractors who supply critical defense capabilities. The majority of the work will be performed in the customer workspace. Role and Responsibilities include: - Provide project management, acquisition support of customer development efforts. - Perform project manager duties to ensure efficient execution of assigned efforts. - Work closely with program managers, lead project engineers, contracts, finance, and program teams. - Maintain awareness of day-to-day issues and plan/prepare for significa...
