Career Consultant – Workforce Development Reports To: Program Manager, WFD; Coordinator, WFD Supervises: None Pay: $22/hr. Summary The Career Consultant will leverage their expertise in work-readiness training, career coaching, modern job search techniques, and employment to support clients with in achieving their career goals while providing hands-on job coaching and individualized career support. Essential Job Functions: - Provide personalized job coaching to participants before, during, and after placement, focusing on both technical job duties and essential workplace behaviors. - Assist individuals in identifying career goals, overcoming barriers, and developing skills necessary for long-term success in employment. - Guide participants through career exploration, job search strategies, and professional development to enhance their marketability. - Deliver workplace readiness training, teaching soft skills such as professionalism, adaptability, communication, and teamwork. - Offer one-on-one coaching and support to help participants build confidence, navigate workplace challenges, and understand employer expectations. - Develop individualized employment and training plans that a...
