Quality Intern (Temporary Position) POSITION SUMMARY: Under the guidance of the Director of Quality Data Management, the SBSH Quality Intern (Temp) will focus on key areas as assigned in relation to SBSH Initiatives for operational excellence and improvement. This individual will provide non-clinical support to a broad range of staff to assist in streamlining hospital operations . RESPONSIBILITIES: - Data Analysis & Auditing: Performs data collection, entry, and verification . - Documentation: Preparation, amendment, organization. Creation of source files (e-files) and document verification . - Reporting: Assists in preparation of reports, presentations, and minutes. - Administrative & Clerical Support: Scanning, filing, administrative phone support. - Projects: Participation with specialized projects to support organizational initiatives. - Support continuous improvement efforts relative to departmental and hospital needs. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with a strong interest in the healthcare setting. - Strong interest in healthcare, patient safety, data entry/analytics as it applies to the hospital setting. -...
