Oulton College is seeking a qualified professional with a Master’s degree in Sociology, Social Science, or a closely related discipline to support our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program as a Course Developer and/or: Faculty member for Sociology of Work: . This: course examines work in modern society, with particular focus on the nursing profession and healthcare environments. It explores the historical evolution of work, the social organization of workplaces, labour market challenges, social inequality, workplace structures, and the meaning and impact of work on individuals and society. The course also examines how social and cultural values, technology, globalization, and health trends shape the experiences of workers and the nursing profession. The course: is scheduled for the Fall 2026 semester: , offered over a 15-week term (3 hours per week of teaching).
